Raina Murphy is a relational psychoanalyst and handpoke tattoo artist based in Beacon, NY. (Each practice informs the other, but they don't happen at the same time.) Inspired by the natural and supernatural worlds, she welcomes symbols, relics, abstract forms, and personal mythology. She is equally at home in millennial nostalgia: Y2K, cartoons, fashion, and the irreverent visual language of the late 90s and early aughts.

What to know.

I'll respond within 48 hours to schedule a free 15-minute call. We'll talk through your idea and, if it's a good fit, book an appointment.
Appointments are generally scheduled 1 to 3 weeks out, which gives us time to work through the design together.
I don't copy other artists' work. If you have a design you created, or one another artist has given you written permission to use, we can talk about it.
The design process includes up to 3 rounds of edits. Additional drawing time beyond that is billed at $100 per hour.
To hold your appointment, send a $100 deposit via Venmo.
Final price and design are confirmed at least 48 hours before your appointment.
Full payment is due at the time of your appointment, by cash or Venmo.
Please sign the waiver at least 24 hours before you come in. If it isn't signed by then, the appointment may need to be rescheduled.
